Preserving and showcasing Colorado's past, present, and future
The History Colorado Center, located in the heart of Denver's Golden Triangle, brings to life the legacy, history, and traditions of the great Centennial State. Opened in 2012, this award-winning building presents core and traveling exhibitions that encourage visitors to imagine the future by learning about the past and spur civic conversations.
The Center also offers educational and community programs and houses the Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation, the State Historical Fund, the Stephen H. Hart Research Library, and other History Colorado functions.
We encourage you to wander through the Center's exhibits, which will be open for guests of the Colorado Spartans Social.
